Candles provided us with some much needed comfort after the passing of our incredible Dad. Our very own healing journey started and as a result, Alexander Linn was born.
A brand born out of grief, a brand born out of love.
After all sadness and love are inextricably linked. It's true what they say; grief is simply love with nowhere to go. The deep love we have in our hearts is the thing that has brought us to this place. Every day we take a candle to our Dad's resting place and continue to use them as part of our daily self-care routine.
We decided to channel our love into candle making with the aim of helping others going through their own daily struggles and challenges.

Giving back
For every candle we hand craft and sell, 5% of all profits are donated to our chosen charities, Starlight Children's Foundation, an incredible UK based charity that our father donated to for years. This charity uses the power of play to make the experience of illness and treatment better for children and their families.
Starlight Children’s Foundation
Our second chosen charity helps to fund vital Bronchiectasis research in memory of our Dad. Bronchiectasis, a life limiting, highly complex condition when severe caused our family an immense amount of suffering. We hope to help create more awareness and contribute towards finding a cure. This charity helps to contribute towards research at Dundee University, one of the top Bronchiectasis research centres in the UK and helps to fund better treatment options for Bronchiectasis patients across the UK.
